SkiCamera began as a tool for ski coaches who need both hands free while filming — thick gloves, cold fingers, and a moving subject don't mix well with touchscreens. The app auto-starts recording seconds after launch and uses on-device machine learning to keep the skier framed and zoomed automatically, with tracking smooth enough to trust hands-off.

Every control works through the phone's physical buttons — volume to adjust zoom, power to lock and save — so nothing requires taking off a glove or looking at a screen.

Live on the App Store today. An Android port is currently underway. The same tracking engine also powers PawsCamera, a sibling app tuned for filming dogs and pets instead of skiers.
